Weather: Heavy rain in the morning, but clouds and intermittent sun while we hiked. Temps in low 60's. Trail very wet.

Notes of Interest: 1. We saw tons of birds including: Kingbird, Blue Heron, Geese with Goslings, Catbird, Common Yellow Throated Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, Oriole, Redwing Blackbirds, Mourning Doves.

Notes of Interest: 1. It appears some of the blueberry patch has been burned, as I had read was going to happen as part of the management of the area. 2. I heard lots of birds. 3. I saw a Tree Swallow in the blueberry patch.

Weather: Sunny, warm, temps in low 70's, light breeze

Other Adventurers Encountered: 3 people walking, kids in stroller, 2 dogs, numerous kids at ball field
Points of Interest: 1. The water is COLD. It may be warm enough for dog swimming, but it is only barely warm enough for human wading. I got a head freeze from submerging my feet.

Notes of Interest: 1. They are rebuilding two of the old roads in the park. And hikers are warned to stay off these roads. 2. When crossing the powerline on Doorknob, if you look south along the powerline you'll be looking down in Rt 4A. You can't quite see Gawet Marble, but you can see the Charlebois building, the motorcycle shop, the little gas station, and the used car place.

Notes of Interest: 1. We saw two sets of wild animal tracks. One was obviously from a moose, but the other I'm not sure. 2. We saw a broken Robin's Egg. :( 3. The trail is very dry this year. Last year it was flooded for months during the spring.
